Organic sesame and avocado oils join forces together with holistic cure-all castor oil and vitamin E to give our Classic Shave Oil a velvety, buttery smoothness.
Men have been shearing their beards since long before the advent of canned chemical foams and synthetic shaving creams. Return to your roots with this simple, natural, protective stubble-lubricant and reduce the instance of razor burn, nicks and cuts.
Also, for all the canned-foam loyalists: you can see through this stuff. If you've never been able to actually see through the foam where you're shaving, you have no idea how simple and easy it can be.
Go ahead, try it.
Directions for Use:
After a shower apply a layer to softened stubble of the face (legs, underarms, etc.) and pass razor slowly (with the grain) over the hair until smooth. Repeat if necessary, you hairy beast.

What does Red Hook smell like?
Red Hook smells like Bay Rum with hints of Cardamom and Citrus. Together these spicy essences create a complex aroma suggestive of cinnamon's swashbuckling older brother.
Why Name a scent Red Hook?
The historical home of industrial factories and warehouses, a navy yard and a cruise terminal, Red Hook is the current home to a burgeoning enclave of young artists and fringe creatives. We wanted to create a smell that is uplifting and thought-provoking, that would reflect not only the passion and raw talent of Red Hook's newest denizens, but also pay tribute to the neighborhood's nautical and industrial roots. Based on a classic Bay Rum recipe, Red Hook's aromatic balance was meant to be at once both modern and timeless, with an extra something imparting the fragrance with an air of familiarity and mystery, honoring and celebrating past and future.
